Google is open for business in Ann Arbor

The move is reminding area businesses of the importance of search engine visibility.

According to the Ann Arbor News:

The fast-growing Internet company opened a temporary office at 112 S. Main St. in downtown Ann Arbor as the first step in moving its AdWords operations here. It occupies two floors and 7,000 square feet of space in the building that formerly housed the Mayer-Schairer office supply store.

This is great new for Ann Arbor and its been nice for MyST, too, since we have offices nearby and our our primary data center is just around the corner. I've gotten lots of questions lately as to whether or not the Google move offers any advantage to our MyST Blogsite™ business. Of course, there's no technical advantage, but just the boost in awareness—among the local business community—is a good thing.
