Blog Site Readership Up 58% in 2004

The Blogosphere and RSS aggregators have become a key part of online culture according to a new report from the Pew/Internet & American Life Project.

Weblogs are becoming a significant feature of the Internet landscape. The recently published State of Blogging report states that 27% of Internet users read weblogs and that 6 million Americans get news and information fed to them through RSS aggregators. According to the report, "This is a first-time measurement from our surveys and is an indication that this application is gaining an impressive foothold."
